Join us this World Cancer Day for an important talk on the risks, signs, and symptoms of breast cancer on 4th of January, from 12-1pm, at The Foundry.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and the leading cause of death among women aged 35–49. To safeguard ourselves and those we care about—mothers, sisters, daughters, and others—it is essential to be informed and open about breast cancer.
A trained public health volunteer from Breast Cancer Now will provide vital information, including:

- Breast awareness and the importance of early detection
- The NHS breast screening programme
- Signs and symptoms to look out for
- Causes of breast cancer and ways to reduce your risk
- Debunking myths and misconceptions
The talk will conclude with a Q&A session to address your questions.
